Driver
Personal
- Aged 21 or over
- Unrestricted current Australian driver's licence valid in WA
- Current Passenger Transport Driver authorisation (PTD) — issued by WA DoT
- Right to work in Australia
- National Police Certificate (where required by your category of work)
- Active ABN (Australian Business Number)
- Identity verified through RapidID + Document Verification Service (DVS)
Car
Vehicle
- Registered in Western Australia, current rego
- Compulsory Third Party (CTP) insurance on the rego
- Comprehensive vehicle insurance with passenger-transport endorsement
- Public liability cover of not less than AUD 20 million
- Roadworthy: warning lights addressed, safety equipment functional, legal tyres
- Clean and free of strong odours
- Holds a current Passenger Transport Vehicle authorisation (PTV) — for taxi work
- Meets any category-specific requirements (taxi colour, signage, meter, taxi camera, child restraint anchorage, WAV modifications)
We continuously verify your PTD and your vehicle's PTV against the WA DoT data feed. If either lapses, your account is automatically blocked from going online until it's restored — see the Driver Service Agreement clause 2.2.
Taxi
Additional for taxi work
- Membership in good standing of the OZ Ride On-Demand Booking Service (ODBS)
- Driver nominated against a vehicle that holds a current PTV
- Compliance with the WA DoT regulated taxi fare schedule
