Verify your identity
5–10 min
Photo ID + selfie + DVS consent. Powered by RapidID. Your documents are encrypted and stored securely.
Submit your driver and vehicle documents
10–15 min
PTD authorisation, driver's licence, vehicle PTV (for taxi), insurance certificate, vehicle photos, ABN.
Wait for approval
1 business day
Our compliance team reviews submissions during business hours. Most complete applications are approved within 24 business hours.
Complete the in-app driver education modules
20–30 min
Short videos and quizzes covering safety, dispatch, fares, and what to do in common situations.
Go online and accept your first trip
Anytime after approval
Open the app, set your status to online, and start receiving dispatch. Your first 14 days you receive priority support and review.

Blockers

No PTD yet. Apply at the WA Department of Transport first. You can install the OZ Driver app and prepare your other documents while you wait. We won't be able to approve you until the PTD is current.
No commercial passenger transport endorsement on your insurance. Talk to your insurer or get a separate policy. Most major Australian insurers offer the endorsement.
No ABN. Apply for free at abr.gov.au. Until you supply a valid ABN, the ATO requires us to withhold tax from your earnings at the no-ABN rate.
