How the taxi meter works

Mode 01

Upfront fare, matched by dispatch, GST itemised on the receipt. $8 minimum fare.

Taxi meter

Regulated WA taxi tariff — flagfall, distance and waiting time — recorded by the app. Authoritative meter reading on every trip.

Taxi mode requires a valid WA Passenger Transport Driver authorisation. Taxi fares are set by the WA Department of Transport schedule.
